ChatGPT brand monitoring

Know when ChatGPT recommends your brand — and who wins when it does not.

Monitor the buying questions that matter to your business. Prompt Monitoring checks the same focused prompt portfolio over time, records your mentions and competitors, and reports a 7- and 30-day mention rate with the sample size beside it.

Brand visibility is a pattern, not one screenshot

Mention rate with sample size

See the share of stored ChatGPT checks that mention your brand over 7 and 30 days. Every percentage includes its number of observations.

Competitor presence

Identify which vendors appear when you are missing and which names repeatedly share the answer with you.

Prompt-level context

Keep the exact buying question, answer excerpt, mention status and observed position together instead of reducing everything to one score.

Meaningful change alerts

Surface a mention gained or lost and a newly appearing competitor without turning every generative wording change into noise.

How ChatGPT brand monitoring works

  1. 01

    Find the money questions

Enter your website or describe your offer. Review 30 buying-intent prompts and select the one to ten closest to revenue.

  2. 02

    Establish a real baseline

Run one live ChatGPT check. See whether your brand is named, which competitors appear and which sources are detected.

  3. 03

    Measure the recurring signal

Pulse repeats the portfolio daily and rolls observations into mention rates, history and a compact weekly digest.

Read the signal without false precision

SignalWhat it meansUseful next action
Mention gainedYour brand appears in the latest check after being absent in the prior one.Review the answer and source mix; preserve the pages and claims that may support the gain.
Mention lostYour brand disappeared from the latest response for that prompt.Compare the prior answer, current competitors and changed sources before choosing a page update.
Competitor addedA vendor not present in the previous observation now appears.Inspect what that competitor is associated with and whether your target page answers the same decision criteria.
Low sample countThe percentage is based on too few checks to call a stable trend.Let the daily series grow; treat the current result as a baseline, not a permanent ranking.

What the metric does — and does not — claim

  • ChatGPT output can vary between runs. Mention rate makes that variability visible instead of hiding it.
  • An observed position belongs to one answer and one time; it is not a fixed search ranking.
  • The launch product monitors ChatGPT. Other engines are not included in public results until separately validated and enabled.
  • Deep technical and semantic page audits remain an optional GEO Tool upgrade, not a prerequisite for monitoring.

Frequently asked questions

What is ChatGPT brand monitoring?

It is the repeated observation of selected prompts to record whether ChatGPT mentions your brand, which competitors appear, and how those results change over time.

How many prompts can I track?

Pulse is deliberately focused: one domain and up to ten buying-intent prompts. The free map helps you choose them before checkout.

Why show sample size next to mention rate?

A 50% rate based on two checks means something different from 50% across 30 checks. The observation count prevents a precise-looking percentage from hiding weak evidence.

Does the free check use a real model?

When a live provider is configured, the result is marked as a real check with engine, model and timestamp. Any fallback sample is explicitly labeled as a sample and is never presented as live evidence.
